*Unit was damaged – etching/rust/corrosion damage from misuse of a cleaning solution. After the unit was used on a job, Rust X Cleaner was applied to it, and was left on the unit over a weekend. The cleaning solution needs a neutralizing agent to be used properly, and a neutralizing agent was not used. The Rust X Cleaner caused etching and rust, and when damages were noticed, the unit was sprayed with water. At a later date, remediation efforts were taken in the form of applying the neutralizing agent, but rust/etching/corrosion was still present. Pictures are from May/June and September 2024. All claims by Purchaser for shortages, defects or discrepancies in materials purchased hereunder must be submitted in writing to CCS within ten days after receipt of such materials by Purchaser. Purchaser’s failure to notify Seller within the prescribed time period shall constitute a forfeiture of the right to pursue any such claims.
